When to Suspect a Rotator Cuff Tear

With spring in full swing, so is baseball season. When our two Texas teams, the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers, met up recently at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Ranger’s fan favorite Yu Darvish wasn’t in the lineup. He was recuperating from 2015 Tommy John surgery to repair an elbow injury. Some might say he dodged a bullet. At least he didn’t have to undergo rotator cuff surgery, which can be a career ender for a Major League pitcher.
