Dr. Taylor Jobe: Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in Austin TX: General Ortho, Shoulder, Hand, Wrist, & Elbow

Dr. Taylor Jobe is our orthopedic hand, wrist, & elbow specialist. Dr. Jobe is a Board Eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and elbow surgery. He combines minimally-invasive new technologies with time-tested procedures to provide individualized care for all of his patients. He takes a great deal of pride in treating each patient with their unique goals in mind. As an orthopedic hand surgeon, everyday injuries and complex disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow are his primary areas of expertise. However he also specializes in sports-related injuries of the upper extremity and welcomes all general orthopedic concerns of the upper and lower extremities. Dr. Jobe attended medical school at Texas Tech University, and he completed his residency at the University of New Mexico followed by a fellowship in hand, elbow, and microvascular surgery at the University of Virginia. A former college football player himself, Dr. Jobe also takes a special interest in injuries of the athlete. In 2015 he co-authored “Hand and Wrist Injuries in the Athlete” for 5th Volume of Orthopaedic Knowledge Update of Sports Medicine. An Austin native, Dr. Jobe is excited to return to Texas with his wife, Lacey, and their two young children. He looks forward to being an active member of the Austin medical community, and providing his services in any way possible. Dr. Jobe is also fluent in Spanish.
