Postraumatic Arthrosis
Postraumatic Arthrosis is a premature form of DJD which results from a severe trauma. Typically, results from a fracture into the joint surface of the knee which causes accelerated damage to the cartilage surface of the knee joints.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis is an inflammatory condition in the ball and socket hip joint that causes gradual erosion of the cartilage in the hip joint. Typically, several other joints in the body can be affected. Symptoms and signs include pain in the groin or the knee, limited motion and function of the hip, and a limp.
Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD)
(DJD) is a progressive deterioration of the cartilage covering the bones that make up the knee joint (femur, tibia, patella).
